Still awaiting the OK to use two other H/Hr fanvids, so I'll put this one up for now. It's to the song "Beautiful Love" by the Afters, and is full of H/Hr fluff (told you on the podcast I'd either write a songfic or make a video using the song :p). Harry loves Hermione and her smile, and by the end Hermione realizes she returns those feelings.

On a different note, I've been getting e-mails and comments asking what programs I use to make my videos. Here's a list:
1) DVDFab decrypter (which was a free download)
2) avi.NET or flask mpeg video converter (converts from VOD format to avi format and are also free downloads)
3) Windows Movie Maker (came free on my computer)
4) Wavepad or Sony Sound Forge for the video music (Wavepad was a free download, and I've found WAV format works best with my vids)

It's not really hard work per se, but time consuming. It takes a while to decrypt a DVD, and then to convert it to the format you need to make the video takes a while as well. Then of course editing the clips to go with the song you've chosen and getting the effects just right takes a while to make it look 'clean' (no mistakes during the transitions). I've found that if you magnify the clips as much as possible they are a lot easier to work with. So, just a short tutorial from someone who was video impaired and learned through trial and error how to make them. If you want to find the programs I've listed or others like it to use, Google is most helpful in pointing you in the right direction.

It's the 1st of June, which means that at midnight last night, the monthly votes for Harmony Podcast reset to 0 again on Podcast Alley. While I await approval to use three H/Hr fan videos that have been recommended, I'm going to post my newest video for you guys to watch. Hopefully next week there will actually be a video by another new video maker, but until then I hope you enjoy this one.

This video is to the brand new song by Nelly Furtado and Timbaland, "Promiscuous". I made it just for fun, to see if I could do it, and I kinda like how it turned out. It's not meant to be taken seriously, I mean, I'm not trying to make it seem like Harry and Hermione sleep around so please don't take the words to the song literally. It's meant to be all in good fun, and I hope you enjoy watching it. And we need more video recommendations, so please, if you have seen some good H/Hr fan vids lately, go to the forum and recommend them :)
